The dark color pallet (as opposed to Baal's very light one) gives off a sense of authority. Zhongli's style for example, is extremely unique since no one else in the game has a tux-like coat, let alone in Liyue. It's not about wanting her to be evil, but wanting her to be noble, epic, and strong as she is depicted by the story (specifically Kazuha's cutscene). These details altogether presents an extremely motherly looking character. The light purple/blue pallet of her clothing further reinforces this. Not shy like Mei's, not confident like Danzai/APHO Mei, and not menacing like HoT Mei, but just gentle and kind. Kallen's eyes are also a lot more energetic like Kiana's while Baal's just looks very kind. Kallen's hair up front is a lot more "anime scruffy" while Baal's is more refined and neat.
